Rhiannon Graham took home the title of Miss Chicago 2025 at the 103rd competition on Saturday, January 18, 2025. Ballerina Alyssia Duda won Miss Chicago’s Teen 2025.
The event, hosted by Miss Illinois 2014 Marisa Buchheit, was held at the Irish American Heritage Center in Chicago, Illinois. Rhiannon was crowned by Miss Illinois 2024, Breana Bagley.
“I’m so humbled and shocked for this opportunity,” Rhiannon told Bose Akadiri, Founder of Goal and Grind and guest host for Chicago Southsider, after the crowning ceremony. “I want to leave a legacy that [shows] it doesn’t matter what household you grow up in or what your family is like. You can do whatever you want to do and whatever you dream of. I’m living proof of that [by] being in a single family home and becoming your Miss Chicago.”
Rhiannon’s on-stage performance showcased her exceptional talent and years of dedication to pageantry. Twirling three batons to the popular anthem “Survivor” by Destiny’s Child, she delivered a breathtaking routine that captivated the audience. Her swift, precise movements were perfectly synced with the music, creating a visually stunning and dynamic effect that highlighted her skill and creativity.
Rhiannon’s impressive performance reflects her deep roots in pageantry, having started competing at the age of 3. Most recently she held the title of Miss Capital City 2024 before earning the crown as Miss Chicago 2025.
During her reign, Rhiannon will promote her community service initiative, Single But Not Alone: Advocating for Single Parent Families. In June, she will proudly represent Chicago at the Miss Illinois pageant, held at the Marion Civic Center.
