Have you visited Afro Joe’s yet? Kendall and Aisha Griffin, the husband-and-wife founders of Afro Joe’s, had a grand opening for the Beverly location this spring. Formerly located in Auburn Gresham, this popular Black-owned coffee shop provides an intimate opportunity for drink lovers to get their favorite tea, cold coffee drinks, expresso drinks, non-caffeinated beverages, and more.

Since we are in the midst of Fall, it’s a good time to try the Caramel Apple Latte. It’s mixed with Cinnabon and caramel syrups, a delicious combination to satisfy your sweet cravings. If you want to be fancy, you can add whipped cream and caramel drizzle to your Caramel Apple Latte treat.

Now, if you’re like me, you may need to customize your Caramel Apple Latte to best fit your needs. You can add agave, ditch the dairy, and choose a lower level of sweetness.

#2. Sip and Savor

Visit Here: 528 E. 43rd Street, Chicago, IL 60653

Sip & Savor has four locations on Chicago’s South Side. You can visit the Bronzeville, Hyde Park, or Rosenwald location to get your favorite coffee or tea. But if you’re in the South Suburbs, the Matteson location may be a closer option.

Established in 2005, Sip & Savor is the beverage brainchild of Trez V. Pugh. The first location opened in a residential building in Bronzeville. If you want to see where Sip & Savor’s magic started, head on over to the Bronzeville location at 528 E. 43th Street.

The coffee shop offers teas, traditional coffee, smoothies, sip mochas, blended drinks, and more. But you can also sip Fall flavored drinks like Caramel Apple Cider. It comes in a 12oz or 16oz cup, and you probably won’t spend more than $5.00 to enjoy this tasty drink.
