Burger King Scholarship

Burger King grants scholarship awards up to $50,000 to help students pay for college or post-secondary vocational/technical school. Recipients are selected based on their grade point average (GPA), work experience, extracurricular activities and community service. Click here to learn more and apply by December 15, 2022.

Bank of America Student Leaders Program

Through Bank of America’s Student Leaders® program, community-minded high school juniors and seniors have the chance to obtain employment, skills development and service opportunities. Click here to learn more and apply by January 13, 2023.

Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship Program

Amazon’s scholarship program will provide select high school seniors with a $40,000 scholarship and a paid internship at Amazon following their freshman year of college. Applicants should be enrolled in computer science or hardware engineering related courses or have some experience in this type of coursework. Click here to learn more and apply by January 20, 2023.

Receive an education at a city college at no cost.

Blacks at Microsoft Scholarship

The 2023 scholarship application cycle will open in Fall 2022.

NABJ-ESPN Stuart Scott Internship

ESPN and NABJ are offering a 10-week paid summer internship in memory of Stuart Scott for his contributions to sports journalism. It includes a $3,500 stipend on behalf of ESPN and the NABJ Sports Task Force and a free trip to the 2023 NABJ Convention & Career Fair. Click here to learn more and apply by February 27, 2023.

NABJ Scholarships

The National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) Board of Directors will award 25 scholarships worth $2,500 each. Students should have a demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in journalism and media, a record of community service, and financial need. Click here to learn more and apply by February 27, 2023.

NABJ Visual Task Force Scholarship

The National Association of Black Journalists – Visual Task Force (VTF) provides professional development and mentorship opportunities. The task force will award a scholarship to a high school junior, senior or full-time college undergraduate/graduate student with at least one full-year of school remaining at the time of the application and disbursement of funds at an accredited U.S. college or university. Pullman Scholars

The application period for 2023 is currently open for Cook County residents. To be eligible for a George M. Pullman Educational Foundation Scholarship, applicants must be a graduating high school senior, demonstrate strong financial need, and plan to attend an accredited and qualified bachelor’s degree-granting institution in the fall. Click here to learn more and apply by February 1, 2023.

AICPA Foundation Two-Year Transfer Scholarship Award

Students who are studying at a two year or community college who intend to transfer to a four year college and major in accounting. Click here to apply by March 15, 2023.

AICPA Scholarship for Minority Accounting Students

Recipients receive individual awards of up to $5,000 per academic year. Scholarship aid may be used only for the payment of expenses that directly relate to obtaining an accounting education. The AICPA Minority Scholarship awards outstanding minority students to encourage their selection of accounting as a major and their ultimate entry into the profession.
